About the Duplicate Line Remover
Email lists, keyword exports, URL collections and CSV columns all pick up duplicates. Doing this in a spreadsheet means several clicks through a dialog; here you paste the list and the cleaned version appears next to it. You can also flip the tool around and show only the lines that repeat, which is how you audit a keyword export or find double-entered records.
How to use the Duplicate Line Remover
- Paste your list into the left box, one entry per line.
- Choose whether to remove duplicates, keep only lines that appear once, or show duplicates only.
- Toggle case sensitivity, space trimming, blank removal and sorting.
- Copy the cleaned list from the right-hand box.
Why use this tool?
Three modes
Deduplicate, keep strictly unique entries, or isolate the repeats for review.
Smart matching
Optionally ignore letter case and leading or trailing spaces so 'Apple ' and 'apple' count as one entry.
Counts as you go
See how many lines went in, how many came out, and how many were removed.
Frequently asked questions
Does it keep the original order?
Yes. The first occurrence of each line stays in place unless you switch sorting on.
How many lines can it handle?
Tens of thousands comfortably. Everything runs locally, so the limit is your device's memory rather than an upload cap.
Can it deduplicate a CSV column?
Paste the single column you care about. Full multi-column CSV deduplication needs a spreadsheet, because a row can be unique even when one field repeats.
